Common Misconception

Does “fast doc” mean no paperwork?

No. “Fast doc” is a simpler assessment path, not a paperwork-free loan. The lender will still require enough information to understand the business and proposed purchase.

No. In business and asset finance, “fast doc” generally describes a streamlined assessment pathway—not a paperwork-free loan. Different lenders use the term differently, and their requirements depend on the applicant, loan amount, asset and overall risk.

A lender may still require identification, privacy consent, ABN and GST history, bank statements, asset details and an explanation of the purchase. Financial statements, tax information or additional supporting documents may also be requested where required.
